The type of poem you would find at the bottom of a public trash can in New York City

February 6, 2020

She tore her diamond body from pyrite hands
Her ruby lips craved no iron master
They chained your Fauvism ashes to the clouds
Tamed the ivory sun with your feral dust
He turned his striped umbrella upside down
Drank the moon’s sorrows to a camel cricket concerto

I tried to run from dandelion madness,
A paperback fool -insanity is a cartoon spiral.
