be mine | #apoemaday9

You shouldn't be with her;
You should be with me.
I have put it as
Simple as can be.
How can you not see
Our love is not carefree,
But its deeper than the sea,
Profound as love can be.

But you are with her,
And I am left alone.
There she sits
On her seat, her throne
Right next to your own.
The sight that I have known
Hits my chest like a stone.
My love for you has grown.

Leave her for me.
I'll be better, I swear.
And our kisses
We will share
Will be lighter than air.
My hands dragging through your hair
It is a privilege I wish to bare.
Will you let me be there?
