PROMPT: Microphone

If you placed a mic down on a trail in the Rockies during a blistering summer's day, you would hear the trickle of water streaming down a small waterfall, the whisper of a wasps nest nearby, maybe even the shuffle of a squirrel scurrying through the underbrush, the smooth, chalk-like sound of pebbles rattling against the stone floor, the rustling of leaves above with each slight breeze from the west, and the honey sweet chirping of a little bird's song.
