It was you, it was me, it was every man,
We've all got the blood on our hands
We only receive what we demand,
If we want hell, then hell's what we'll have

The People All Share One Thing... Home.

December 3, 2019

PROMPT: One Home

Home is a word beyond simple.
Home means Earth.
Home means life.
Home means sharing.
This home is something that we have in common.

Any race,
Any sexuality,
Any and all sorts of diversity,
Are one,
Because we all share a home.

We can fight,
We can destroy,
We can hunt,
We can cry.
In the end,
It doesn't matter,
Because, truly,
We share a home.

We have to get along,
To some level.
We have to make unified choices,
No matter what the rivalries.
We share a home.
We share a home and that is the greatest gift.

a very very dysfunctional family but we're still a family
i think this poem is amazing, it reminds me of write the world; we're from everywhere but we still get along, we bring experiences from so many different places but we all are the same because we are humans, and we love to write. wow that was a long sentence but still, i love this poem it's very touching and well-written
