This was more difficult to write than I anticipated, but I’m glad I did. Please help me out with some much needed feedback!
I loved how you started off with a bit of emotion, then started talking about how it was for you. When I was eleven, I moved to Riga, Latvia, and that was really hard for me. But I still email my friends all the time and have made a few new ones. I love how you captured that even when you're not with your friends, you're still connected, and you can go from feeling really horrible to totally amazing.
Like I said before, I moved around my I was younger, and I still really miss my friends. I don't even know what they look like now, but they still seem to act the same way they used to.
I'd love to hear more about how you feel your relationships with your friends have changed when you're away from them, for better or for worse.
I think your piece could be improved if you added a few more examples of times with friends, and how you've felt.
In one sentence, this is what I think you think: Connections are very important, but they change a lot. I'm sorry that I couldn't find a way to make that more poetic.
I'd just like to say that this piece is really great, but it'd be nice if you strund more personal examples into it. A couple of metaphors or similes would be nice, too.
This is a great essay!
