A glance

September 3, 2019

A glance is deceitful
When looking at trees,
They say it's alive
So it's just playing freeze?

A boring old pole
Towering over our gaze,
But just what goes on
the within may amaze

The world for an ant,
A home for a chick,
A spine to a slithering shoot
up it's stick,

Yet upmost importantly,
The reason we thrive,
It's trees that are keeping
us creatures alive!

So with all due respect
Oh, almighty trees,
We'll try to be better
just stay with us, please.
