Everyone has a story to tell

Hello fellow write the worlders. As school approaches (in Canada at least) I was wondering if anyone had any book recommendations for this school year. I find it particularly difficult to continue reading during  without knowing what I am going to read next. Any recommendations would be welcome. Happy end of summer or beginning of school to all 
So I posted this and got really great feedback and am publishing is again ao everyone can see the awesome recommendations:)

    The Medoran Chronicles by Lynette Noni.
    Harry Potter Series(obviously)
    My Australian Story-(these books are written by lots of different authors)
    The Happiest Refugee by Anh Do (This is an autobiography)
    Lion by Saroo Brierley (This is also an autobiography)

    I just read a really good short story collection called Dreadful Young Ladies by Kelly Barnhill that I cannot recommend highly enough. It has a lot of really pretty and creepy stories if that's the sort of thing you like. Its a really fast read.

    I would recommend the Lunar Chronicles series if you like fantasy, sci fi, and classics all in one! :)

    also you can never go wrong with HUNGER GAMES or HARRY POTTER :)
