Hello people! What to say? I'm a Christian girl. I like to write. I write tons of poetry, some short stories, and other things.
God bless you!
-I wish I could speak every single language, wouldn't that be cool ?

You can be nostalgic for a place you've never been if you've been there in your imagination.

strokes of paint on canvas/those are my words on a page/watch as the ink blots drawn from the depths of my mind/stain papers as they grow yellow with age/wonder if they will live forever/in the imagination and thoughts of someone/for sometimes you'll find if the words are important/blotting them out is not easily done

Thank you to all who have supported me, and feedback is always welcome!
Also, if you comment on a piece of mine, I will generally respond to it at some point.

Lost Your Way

August 14, 2019

as i was walking down a road,
a much-populated yet ever-so-lonely
i came upon a man in white
his robes were pure, his
face was kind
nail-marked scars
had marred his hands

he stepped towards me,
and i
thinking maybe he wanted a
i believe i was correct, for
after a moment of examining me,
with a strange, sad
on his face

he said-

you've lost your way,
haven't you?

i was quite confused, for
i was sure i had not
for directions.
granted, i did not
where i was going, but
that doesn't mean i'm

you see,
he continued,
nobody ever really
finds it
unless they come to me,
of course.

everyone is lost, he mused
everyone but
and i would
show them the way-
and i have shown many of the
the way,
and now they are

except that many think
i am but a figment of their

well, sir,
i said
why don't they listen
when you show them the way?
after all, when one is
they often want to be
set upon the straight path
once more.

ah, he said, nodding
but you see-
most people
don't know
they are lost.
and that makes
the difference,
doesn't it?

it does,
i agreed.
he seemed a pleasant man,
but i felt that i really
go on walking soon.

where is this way?
i asked, curious.

it is me,
he smiled.

i was taken aback

what do you mean, it is

well, you see,
the path that you follow
is twisted, corrupted-

oh, yes, once it would have been
pristine and beautiful,
not a
in sight-

but it is not so

when you reach the end of your
you will only come upon a
burning lake
of fire

but certainly i can turn back
then, right?
i interrupted, horrified at the

he said
once you reach the end
you will be doomed to that place

if you were to come to me
things would be different.

for i am
the only way
to heaven
i am the truth
and i am the light

and there are no
shortcuts, there are no
secret passages
that will lead you to the
heavenly kingdom

only through me
can you be saved.

will you come to me?

he asked,
watching me and
waiting for my reaction.

i am sorry sir,
i replied simply.
i do not think i can
your advice, for it sounds
too far-fetched
for my liking.

thank you for speaking with me,
but i really
continue on.

and with that
i left-
but even as i walked
i could still feel his sad eyes
gazing after me.

Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Light that can truly guide us home y'all. He is the one true God, and He took our sins upon Him so that we could be with Him in heaven. That is, if we choose to become Christians. I hope this poem makes you think about it a bit.

I love how beautiful this poem is. Keep writing, keep writing things like these, one day you will change someone's life with them. I'm also aspiring to write good Christian fiction...and still working on it. Thank you for writing this!
