Message to Readers

I hope you like this poem, I wrote it for my two loving pet mice whom I love dearly. Sadly they have passed away, Ceniza slightly over a year ago, and Miel a few months ago. Their names are Spanish for "Ash" and "Honey". They were both very sweet and I will miss them dearly. I hope that you like the poem which I wrote for them.

Mielita, you're gentle and sweet
To be with you, is such a treat
You're a loving mother
A caring friend
You have a heart of gold
You're brave and bold
As fast as an arrow
As gentle as a doe
Eyes that shimmer like stars
A heart as big as Mars

Ceniza, you love, you care
You followed your mother everywhere
You were a perfect pair
When she was alone
You came to her side
You never left, nothing could divide
No mountain is too tall
No mountain is too wide

One day you went away
To a place where I cannot follow
My heart has filled, with such sweet sorrow
Into the air you rose
To where every angel goes
To a kingdom in the clouds
A peaceful place, far from the crowds
A paradise over the rainbow 
Miel and Ceniza are my two little pet mice who sadly passed away a few months ago.
