well, i do have ideas on how to get inspiration. look for quotes, pictures, videos, anything that makes you feel alive or breathe easier. and then write about that. i use Pinterest for this all the time. not really what you were asking for, i know, but maybe it’ll help :)
You could write a conversation between two characters from different books.
Also, there is a type of satire where you take on the style of another author (vocab, sentence structure, content, grammar etc.). You bring out certain characteristics of their writing, usually to make fun of them. It’s a great way to learn how to analyze another person’s writing and how to try out different styles/techniques. I did one using Charles Dickens’s style and it is probably one of the best things I’ve ever written.
