A Query

By: Hanan Adi

So brightly shone the moon at dawn,
It hailed a day ere day was come.
So dimly blinked the sun at dawn,
Though day was due no day did come.
I worried at this manner strange
And called upon the moon and sun,
And asked, “What means this wanton change?”
The two then asked of me as one:
“And you grow never bored of life?”

Message to Readers

This is just something that came to my head this morning, when I woke before the sun with the moonlight in my eyes. All your criticism is invited.

Peer Review

"And you grow never bored of life?" That made me stop and really ponder.

Beauty, wonder, hope.

How are you always so amazing at this?! Your word-structure, thought, meaning, and story in this piece are truly thrilling!
