That dead men rise up never;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to see

scales ripple
like silk on water

blue
gold
fiery red

scales glisten
in the air
swoosh of wind
take flight

great wings
flap through
invisible air
as my dragons
wheel about

look into my eyes
frosty blue
and feel my pain.
