The pendulum haunts the obedient mindever ticking, ever tocking. A distant century whispers wisdom in a broken ear: “By the grace of the Hora, the children will sing lullabies of change as the lingering darkness withers into a kiss. A kissthe dawning sun on the wisps of rebirth after deatha catalyst for metamorphosis. It is the sounding alarm that marks the beginning of the new order.”

“hora” means “hour” in latin, and i noticed the mention of change. is it some kind of subtle symbol? this is gorgeously written, by the way, very inspiring. i hope to read more of your work!

this sounds like the beginning of some devastatingly beautiful novel. i had to read this twice to savor it, taking in the gorgeous language, the way each word flows. what does "hora" mean, though? i googled it and all that came up was some sort of dance. is that what it means here, or is "hora" a part of the world that this takes place in?
