I actually followed a form!.....that I made up. Baby steps. Its 3-3-4, and when I speak/read it, I stress every syllable.

Tick tock, dear,
can you hear
the rain come down?

It will beat
and repeat
in a slow round.

Don't you look
like a schnook
for you can see

that it took
your nainsooks
and with them me.
Nainsook derives from Hindi and means "eye's delight."

Haha, that makes me happy :) That's awesome! I'm a little over 17K. I would love to read yours, but it might be a while before I have time; I'm currently working on projects for finals. My email is piano.voice6@gmail.com. I won't promise anything, but I'll try my best to read it!
