I feel as though I know these boys myself. I also recognize a lot of my family and friends here (the hair gel, the nicknames), so you definitely did a great job of capturing Latin-American youth culture.
The Spanish adds a lot to the atmosphere of the poem, but it might be helpful to put your translations of it in a footnote or something, especially since it forms a crucial part of your poem. If you left it for people to translate themselves, there's a high chance it won't come across the way you want it to.
'swerve so sharply that the road bends for you' is very good. It adds a layer of characterization to Nelson without being obvious.
