Throws up onto the page"

Message from Writer

Hi guys! I'm 15 and from Louisiana. I'm really excited to be in this community of writers. I love writing, art, and reading. I am also a huge Whovian. My other fandoms include Star Trek, The Hobbit book and movies, anything Marvel, Once Upon A Time, Stranger Things, Grimm, Sherlock, and the Michael Vey and Eragon book series. I am also a Christian and love to share about Jesus through what I write.
Special thanks goes to the best writing teacher in the world, Mrs. Vargas, for always encouraging me and helping me to continually improve.
Also thanks to my parents, of course. Love you guys!

freedom comes
when I bare my soul

and pour myself,

onto a page
over a canvas
into the air

is when I unleash
all the things
trapped inside me

they dispel
and reconfigure,
becoming works of art

pieces of me

in the form
of paintings
and poems
and songs.

and instead
of feeling empty
after the build-up is gone

I feel
a strange relief
that resonates
through me

but a deep ache as well,
longing for another
moment of intense liberation

and so I wait

until the next outpouring
the next verse
the next chapter

the next page
in the book
of endless potential
and possibilities.

Thank you so much! I really just wanted to describe how writing and singing, etc. give me a feeling of freedom and relief if I've had a bad day, and I think most artists have felt that before.

i really like this. personally, i think it describes an artist, of any kind, very well. or maybe its just me and the way i write things and how i feel. i'd need a second opinion. but your writing is absolutely beautiful here.
