they warned him of her
and those
rosebush hands,
and those
moonlight eyes,
and those
swaying hips.

they warned him of her
and everything
she touched,
and everything
that made her smile.

and they say he once wondered
what could make her so
dangerous,
her
and those
pomegranate lips.

but i think he liked the ignorance.

why else would he
bare his neck to me
and my
bloodied fangs?

idk paperbird, but i'll take the compliment :)

i guess i do have a tip, though. use nouns to describe other nouns in an unconventional way. it doesn't work for everything, but for example: "pomegranate lips" and "rosebush hands." ummmm another one: "honeycomb hair." also, alliteration is GOLDEN.
