my heart's screaming for you but you're already gone. #powerfulpoems

grief is the feeling

you
expecting to see
them

because in that moment
you forgot

it's when your heart
screams out
trying to

that person
but nothing answers

it's when you finally

so much
left to say,
so much
you wanted to

This piece reminded me to spend time on things that will matter the most in the long run. You wrote the words "so much you wanted to do with them but will never get the chance to." And I think we all need to remember that time is not reusable. It happens like that then it's gone and there is no way to get it back.

I really love this peace and I feel that you gave the perfect amount of information to us. We don't need to know who your grieving about nor do we need to know what happened to that person. All we needed was the feeling the narrator has because of the event that took place. Well written this is powerful and beautiful at the same time.
