Pockets

There's no specific moment or setting.
Just pockets,
            of time,
                    folding together,
When I lie awake at night,
Or when I'm staring out a snowy window,
Time
        suddenly
                      stops
And I see everything
I think everything
All at once.
The world is my home,
Full of surprises and wonders,
           I don't find comfort here,
           But I find adventure,
                          curiosity,
                           life.
It is in these moments,
That I suddenly find myself,
        Frozen,
        Thinking,
        Seeing.
Understanding that as these moments pass,
I am ready,
To live,
But not just live,
I want to live with life.
    Take risks,
    Smile,
    Laugh,
In these pockets of time,
Where everything stops, 
I find myself,
Between the folds,
Ready to take on the world.
