A psychologist asked a class of students, "would you rather be shot or heart broken?"
No one answered for five minutes, until one student, slowly raised their hand.
"I rather be shot," the student answered.
"Why?" the psychologist asked, walking toward the only student brave enough to answer.
"Because being shot can be healed," the student answered.
"Whoever agrees please your hand," the psychologist said, turning back toward the class. When no one did, the psychologist simple stated, "Than none of you have ever been heart broken."
Ponder this, and I'll leave you with my thought: Everything that's ever been touched, physically or emotionally, will never be the same before hand. If your shot, you can be healed, but you'll have a scar, scratch, or something. Being heart broken will leave you with something forever too, only, it can't be healed.

I can't say I agree with this, though I know what you'll say: I've never been heart broken ;) But personally, as a Christian, I believe one can heal from anything. In fact, I have been heart broken, but I have to believe that there is hope for me to move forward. Fortunately I do and because of that, I am in the process of healing. What you could say is that it takes a lot longer to heal from a broken heart than a wound, but it's not impossible.
