Dear Me
Letter —
Words to your future self.
Full Details
“A letter always seemed to me like immortality,” wrote Emily Dickinson, about the power of words to live far into the future.
In preparation for our Letter Writing competition next month, write a note to your future self. At age 36, or 62, or 97, what do you want to remember about your life
now? What do you want to be sure to hold onto? To preserve? To never forget? Need an example?
WtW's polaroses writes to herself at 21, and
Giulia to her future self at 30.
In addition to publishing this letter on Write the World, you might like to save a copy, seal it in an envelope and keep it somewhere safe to be opened by your future self.
